Seasons Greetings to all. Here is hoping that everyone is coping well with their work and that everyone is enjoying their holidays. The 2010 Symposium is almost upon us. Only a few more months to go. The Deadline for the abstracts, 31st December 2009 (Deadline extended to the 14th of January 2010), is fast approaching (see the symposium page on Facebook). So all of you Masters’ and PhD students who haven’t got round to sending your abstracts in, don’t wait too long. UBD has already confirmed that they will be sending out 3 researchers to present their work at the symposium.
We are currently working hard on securing some high profile keynote speakers. Last year we were able to secure three of the top individuals who shape the higher education field: Dr Zulkarnain (Vice Chancellor of UBD), Dr Supry (Head of Research ITB) and Dr Yusop (UNISSA). The Committee is working hard to maintain the same level of quality with our keynote speakers, and are approaching some key policy makers in the country. Keep watching this space for more information as we get it.
